About Me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Julio Saez Rodriguez’s Lab at EMBL-EBI, Wellcome Genome Campus, Cambridge, UK. I completed PhD in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur, working in the CoSmic Lab under the supervision of Dr. Hamim Zafar. My dissertation focused on deep generative models for single-cell and spatial transcriptomics datasets. My current research focuses on developing computational methods that leverage deep generative modeling and probabilistic machine learning to address fundamental challenges in computational genomics.
Previously, I completed M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi advised by Prof. Naveen Garg. I also have industry experience at GE Global Research and GE Aviation, where I contributed to the development of large-scale machine learning systems for flight scheduling, specifically focusing on engine failure forecasting for the international airline industry.
